Highlighting our commitment with the elderlies’ inclusion, the Buenos Aires City’s government chose the headquarter of The “Fundacion de Accion Social de Jabad”(Jabad’s social action foundation) to inaugurate the second stage of the delivery of tablets.

The “Fundacion de Accion Social de Jabad”(Jabad’s social action foundation) is one of the sites for the “Postas Digitales” program, which teaches during the whole year computation to the elderlies. Also, we work from culture, art, recreation and physical activities to promote health and fight one of the hardest parts of aging: loneliness.

During the delivery, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta, Chief of Government; Diego Santilli, Deputy Chief of Government; Graciela Ocaña, Congresswoman; Claudio Romero, Secretary for the Third Age; and Guadalupe Tagliaferri, Development and Housing Minister.

Rodriguez Larreta recognized the work, commitment of the Foundation and the importance of teamwork. He explained that the objective of this delivery is to generate a bond, that the elderlies lose the fear from technology and get rid of prejudice, to be more connected.

Also, Guadalupe Tagliaferri clarified that elderlies would be accompanied during the whole learning process, in everything they might need, through the different “aulas digitales”(Digital classrooms) such as those present in the Foundation.

On her side, Graciela Ocaña remarked the importance of working with the third age as “elderlies and children are the most unprotected members of society”.

To conclude, the rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt and the director of the foundation Jessica Korenblum handed a recognition to BA’s Chief of Government for his support on social causes.
